More and more middle-aged people are alone today. In the US, this figure is 40%, in the UK-31%, in Japan – about 15%, in Russia, according to unofficial data, about 40%.
With the active growth of cities, the theme of loneliness in megacities is becoming more and more important. We are among people every day, but we often feel alone. My photo story is about loneliness among people.
“Alone” is made with the technique of long exposure shooting. And this choice is not accidental. On the one hand, this shooting technique is always a surprise. The photographer never knows until the end how the shot will turn out. This adds a lot of mystery to the process. On the other hand, the present blurring of the frame additionally works on the idea.
